My name is Matthew Burrows and I am a Development lead on the BBC iPlayer in London, UK.
My role requires me to craft elegant web solutions utilising the latest technologies based on current best practises in maintainable, scalable OOCSS / modular client-side JS and Node JS.
During a professional career which began in 2008 I have been fortunate to work with global brands such as Google, the Oxford English Dictionary, Pret and Tesco Mobile.
In my spare time I like to follow the latest developments in the industry allowing me to experiment with code and further my knowledge. When not working I like to explore London, skateboard and snowboard.
